ML jam makingMatt requested help making jam: despite being adept in the kitchen, he’d never been able to make a jam that set, even if he followed a recipe.

Over the course of a 2 hour exchange, Gaye taught Matt the basic techniques for making any jam, explaining the rationale behind key steps and showing him just what techniques described in recipes (like finding the setting point) are supposed to look like in practice.

Since then, Matt has made 2 other jams and 3 chutneys, with a 100% success rate!
